Hello!
I wanted to make some things clear, so here are some notes about my artwork.
- I welcome constructive criticism on my artwork, unless I state otherwise.
- You are NOT allowed to post my art and claim it as your own. But you can share my artwork anywhere as long as you credit me. (I'd appreciate greatly if you notify me!) Credit is given by mentioning me, for example:
"Artwork by Peachy Protist". Linking to my deviantART [ peachyprotist.deviantart.com ] is preferred but either way is fine. - Please do not copy my character designs or make it as a reference to your character, without talking about it with me first.
- You are not allowed to claim my characters as yours.
- You can take inspiration from them but you cannot make it too similar/exact copy. If you are inspired by anything I create, it would be great if you mention me and tell me since these kinds of things make me happy and I will leave comments/faves/likes for you!
- You are allowed to draw my characters without asking me first and I'd love to see the artwork! I appreciate any gift art regardless of skill level or style. [But please do not draw them in a degrading manner]
- Please do not compare my characters with other people, celebrities or existing characters -- no matter how kind or neutral your intentions are. [Also see: About Comparing OCs]
- However, if you see a picture of something that reminds you of my character, that's different. You can share that with me. I love knowing that people think of my characters.
- The characters I create are not me and are not inspired by my personality, unless mentioned. I will usually mention what inspired me to create the character to avoid confusion.
- For artwork that I have made for you, you can use it for your own personal use but must follow note #2.
- My character, J, is very sacred to me so I may be over-protective about him.
